FC Barcelona are in South Africa to face Mamelodi Sundowns, but do you know which seven Africans have starred for the Catalan giants? Most football fans will remember Africa's most decorated export 3mbet Samuel Eto'o, who made 199 appearances for the club, scoring 130 goals and assisting another 42 strikes. The former Cameroon international sits in eighth spot in the club's all-time top goalscorers list, and lifted eight trophies during his time at the Camp Nou, but the first African arrived long before him, in the 1960s.His name was Jorge Alberto Mendonca, an Angolan who spent three seasons with the Catalan giants between 1966 and 1969, after joining from Atletico Madrid. The next African only joined 30 years after Mendonca, when Emmanuel Amunike put on the famous Blaugrana shirt between 1996 and 2000. He played for 3mbet the club under Sir Bobby Robson and Louis van Gaal, and won six trophies with the Blaugrana. Amunike's stint overlapped with that of Gbenga Okunowo, who won the Olympic gold medal with Nigeria.Yaya Toure joined the Spanish side in 2007 and was part of Pep Guardiola's famous side that won the sextuple. Seydou Keita arrived one year after Toure did and was also part of 3mbet the sextuple side in 2009. Overall, the former Mali international won 14 titles with the Catalans. The last African to wear Barca's colours was Alex Song. He won two titles in his first campaign in Spain and made 65 appearances for the club, but was later twice loaned to West Ham United before eventually joining Rubin Kazan on a free deal.
